Abstract

Structure of production had changed and flexible, information based production appeared by small and medium scale industrial organisations along with globalisation. Industrial districts are affected from these changes and need to adopt these changes became as an obligation. Organized Industrial Zones which aims to collect small and medium scale industrial organisations has been applicating since 1961. Despite this process Organized Industrial Zones Act is made in 2000. And Industrial Zones Act made information based production, more foreign investment and gaining global competition advantage possible. But Industrial Zones hasn’t been applied yet. This article analyses the change and the impacts of this process in world and in Turkey and stimulations in Turkey.
