Accurateand sensitivedeterminationof vanillinin commercialsamplesis significantfor food safety&quality. In the proposedstudy, copperparticleswerecoatedon an indiumtin oxide electrode(ITO)by cyclicvoltammetry(CV) for the determinationof vanillininfood samples.CV studiesindicatedthat the electro-depositionof Cu particlesprovidesa good electrocatalyticeffecttowardsthe oxidationof vanillin. The fabricatedsensordeterminesvanillinlinearlybetween0.50 μM–2.0 mM (Limitof detection:0.15 μM).
