Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based biosensors have successfully been utilized for sensitive and selective biosensing of different analytes because of imprinted molecular cavities present on the transducer surface. These cavities perfectly match the target analytes and provide the recognition event. After recognition, analytical signals are measured, and these signals determine the target analyte concentration. For construction of MIP-based biosensors, several transduction platforms are utilized and, different applications have been performed by using these biosensing systems. The present chapter summarizes the MIP-based biosensors and evaluates the performance and analytical features of the developed biosensors.
