Since its foundation, Turkish Republic has progressed significant phases in political and economiccal fields. By 1923 it had been burnt-out by war, most of its working population had disapperared, most parts of its cities and villages had been destroyed and it was difficult to develop a country whose private enterprise and capital was inadequate. After 1923 in the period of Atatürk, fristly liberal economy politics was adopted. Liberal economy politics, which was adopted for about seven years in the beginning of the Republic, changed into Statism from 1933 with the impact of 1929 World Economy Crisis and world conjuncture. Liberal understanding in the economy politics of Turkey emerged again in 1950 in the period of Democrat Party. Paralel to the economy politics of the per,od liberal understanding dominated in the agricultural field as well.
