dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a study of free-living nematodes (excepting Dorylaimida) from Mount Ararat, Turkey. A total of 25 species are recorded, which belong to the orders Enoplida (one species), Triplonchida (2), Chromadorida (1), Monhysterida (2), Plectida (4) and Rhabditida (18). Nine of them are new for the Turkish fauna: Acrobeles andalusicus, A. ciliatus, Acrolobus longigubernaculum, Cervidellus vexilliger, Chiloplacus trilineatus, C. bisexualis, Panagrolaimus rigidus, Propanagrolaimus hygrophilus, and Teratocephalus terrestris. Three species, namely A. longigubernaculum, C. vexilliger and T. auriculatus, are re-described, including morphological and morphometrical data, and SEM study. The altitudinal distribution of the species is also provided. | en_US |
